There was not anything seemingly frightening about Thea, but she could stop a man dead in their tracks without even lifting a finger. She is an Empath, one with the rare ability to sense and manipulate the emotions of those around her.

Her uncle, the king, uses this to his own advantage, forcing Thea to do his bidding. But under his majesty's rule, the kingdom has fallen into ruin, with the Red Fever running rampant. There are whispers of an uprising, their sole purpose to restore order to the land.

With pressure mounting, Thea is not sure how much more her powers can take before madness sets in. Will she side with the rebels and return Lyria to its former glory, or will Thea remain under her uncle's rule and protect the only family she has left?

IF YOU WISH TO READ THIS STORY IN ITS ORIGINAL, SAFE FORM, PLEASE GO TO WATTPAD * During the era of continuous technological advancement, inventing and working with a time machine could possibly be one of the most astounding breakthroughs in the field of science. With the ability to travel though time, the truth about our ancestors and their way of living can be documented and told to the world with much more accuracy. What the future holds can be seen and measures to prevent the destruction of Earth and mankind can be implemented. But along with great discoveries come great risks. One little spark was all that was needed to throw Kaya's life upside down. Thrown into a world that anyone would think to be a fantasy, Kaya ends up in the hands of one of the most powerful and feared Lords to have ever existed. He has no weakness, he shows no mercy. He is the only person that others of his kind see as absolutely heartless. However, despite how cold and cruel he is on the outside, there is a gentleness that Kaya comes to notice inside. It isn't a weakness but a symbol of strong self control. While doing her best to adapt to the drastic change in lifestyle, Kaya finds herself drawn closer to this stoic yet kind Lord. But domestic affairs and authority surrounding a powerful Lord are not kind to those who don't know how to handle its darkness. If not cautious, you can get burned. And the Lord is the only one who can protect Kaya from the darkness that threatens her safety. Or perhaps, it's the other way around? ~~~~~~~~~~ ORIGINAL STORY, PLOT AND CHARACTERS (C) Midnight_Lilac

After the great war against Hagorn and the fall of the Hadezar army, peace returned to Encantadia. They called her the Mad One long before she ever broke. Born into the Night Court with the mark of the Cauldron glowing faintly over her heart, Nerai was never meant to survive. Her father's cruelty forged her power; his torment made her silence infamous. By five, she could command air with a glance. By six, she'd accidentally killed ten courtiers who mocked her mother. By ten, her name was spoken only in whispers - a warning to children of what happened when gods answered too loudly. But Nerai was not mad. She was merely awake. And when war came for her family, it was not death that claimed her - it was the Cauldron itself. Drawn into its depths, her body vanished, her memories stripped away. The Night Court mourned a daughter lost to legend. Centuries later, Prythian trembles. Magic fractures, and silence spreads like a sickness across the courts. The whispers begin again: the Mad One walks. A woman with white hair and silver eyes emerges from the ruins of a forgotten temple - calm, otherworldly, powerful enough to unmake reality with a thought. She does not remember who she was. But the Cauldron does. When Rhysand sends Azriel to trace the strange magic devouring the land, he finds what no one believed possible - the High Lord's sister, alive, unaging, and changed into something beyond mortal or fae. And as the world begins to unravel, one truth becomes clear: the Mad One has returned, and this time, even silence may not save them.

** All rights to characters and plotline belong to Sarah J Maas, this is completely a fanfiction and I take no credit for the characters and places that Sarah J Maas has created** Born with wings that should not exist, Evanora (ev-uh-NOR-uh) has spent her life hiding in the shadows of Illyria. Concealed by her mother's desperate invention - a dark paste to mask the white leather of her birth - she learned early that survival meant silence, invisibility, and secrets. But when grief, fear, and fury spark a forbidden light within her, Evanora's secret can no longer remain buried. Hunted by her own people, she finds herself swept into the heart of the Night Court, where power, danger, and beauty are entwined. There she meets the Shadowsinger - unreadable, relentless, a warrior who sees too much. Tasked with training her, he becomes both her harshest trial and her most unexpected tether. Yet as whispers of war rise across Prythian, and the Autumn Court stirs schemes that could burn the realm to ash, Evanora must confront what she is, what she fears, and the truth of the bloodline her mother died to protect. In a court of fire and darkness, of love and betrayal, light may be her greatest weapon. Or her doom. [Also on AO3 under stvrlightt_cerys]
