Sam's dad was killed by a drunk driver.Precisely two years ago. Her mother was devastated and crying at night thinking that her daughter couldn't hear but Sam did.
Two years have passed and Sam is a different person than she was before. Focusing on surfing, skating and running the family's bar together with her mom Sam tries to lead a normal life.
