In the not too distant future mankind's world has collapsed. The population of, what had been over 7 billion, has been reduced to a tiny fraction of that number. Nature has reclaimed most of what man had built. Time has been turned back to before the Industrial Revolution, and in some places, to the Dark Ages. Large tracts of the world are uninhabitable, poisoned by radiation and toxic chemicals. For all but a handful, modern conveniences no longer exist. Even warfare has been reduced to the use of muscle powered weapons. Although nearly wiped out by his own hand, mankind slowly recovers. Unfortunately, some seek to bring back the old ways, and bring a new darkness with them, a darkness that must be stopped or our species may permanently disappear from the universe. Only one small city, built by a visionary to survive the catastrophe, remains intact.

The Firefly Light Series is about the life of an exceptional girl, born with a special mission to save mankind and what is left of our world. Of Japanese-American ancestry, her name is Keika, which means firefly light in Japanese. Accidental contact with a strange substance has transformed her into a warrior of unmatched ferocity, although she is not a natural killer. Her situation has forced her into the role of warrior, leader and national hero due to the fact that she is the youngest daughter of the country's king. She must contend with maturing in a broken world, and enemies from within, as well as a mysterious and powerful outside force bent on the conquest of what remains of her world. Some of the invaders seem to possess almost supernatural powers, and are reported to be led by a creature who calls himself a God. Somehow, she must find a way to protect her world from this creature and his minions.

There are two forces in the world, Light and Darkness, and when you side with Light, Darkness gets a stick up its ass and wants you to suffer. My friends and I, we roll with Light, you must know where that leads.... Living in a world that is being overrun by corrupt politicians and suffering through a poorly handled drug epidemic, Rex Mist is faced with a challenge. He has lost everything and is forced to work for the people he hates most: The military. He has been exposed to the radioactive narcotic drug, Dark Mist, that grants him supernatural abilities, so he decides to use them to overthrow the military on his mission to dismantle, defund, and reimagine the government. Along the way, he is faced with many obstacles, such as losing his powers to his mortal enemy, encountering various thugs, and cheating death time and time again. He teams up with a couple: Mark, a soldier, and Erza, an expert healer. They each have a love/hate relationship with Lever, which causes them to phase in and out of working together. Lever is the daughter of the lead scientist who developed the Dark Mist drug, which is an aggressive version of the drug Breakdown. She offhandedly works with the military and is on a mission to save her father who overdosed on Dark Mist. Along this journey, we encounter several eccentric, colorful characters. A carfree blind girl named Maliezza, who is a walking contradiction. Her group of friends, each with a unique power that they honed while being raised in an orphanage. Dokusei, a charming, yet cocky mercenary who supplies the gang with weapons and escorts them on missions. Additionally, there are a number of dark, powerful figures known as Reapers who have ascended to a higher level of power due to having a hefty kill count. All odds appear to be against Rex and his squad. Can he defeat the military? Will Lever leave the military and fight for the other side? Can the effects of Dark Mist be reversed?

WARNING: CONTAINING AMOUNTS OF SASS PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN TO MANKIND In the city of NYC--- Ok. Hold up. First of all, New York City. What, are ya gonna assume everyone here knows what NYC is? Anyway, this is about two people. I can almost hear you rolling your eyes. Another cliché teen fiction with a bad boy and a good girl? Nope. This is about superheroes. I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. And if you can name all the references in this book, you truly are a gift to mankind. Fangirl out.

Imagine a perfectly imperfect world where everything is just as it appears. It's obviously not perfect but there is a sense of normality to it that is comforting. A year and a half ago you lost your father which was more like a best friend than a parent. Fortunately or maybe unfortunately, a year later your mother finds your stepfather and they get married. You have two loyal friends that are your ride or die that you do virtually everything with. You also have a boyfriend who is way out of your league but out of some miracle decided to date you. Now imagine everything changes and suddenly your shoved into a world of deception, lies, and unspeakable evil. Every day leaves you wondering if your going to make it to tomorrow. This is the world our main character, Haley Dobbins, now lives in after three boys walked into her school and her life changed forever. It was clear from the start that there was something different about them, and it wasn't just the fact that they were more attractive than everybody else. It was almost as if their entire presence screamed danger. If only she had listened to her instincts and not gotten involved with them, she could have avoided this. However what she didn't know was that these boys were in fact the spawn of the devil himself and that the moment they walked through those doors their destinies would be forever entertwined whether she liked it or not. They always say that the beautiful ones are the most dangerous. They fool you with their looks and stab you in the back. The things left to wonder about are, will Haley make it out alive? Is she going to embrace her destiny or fight it? Will there be an adventure? And most importantly will she fall in love with one of the three boys or better yet all of them? All these questions can be answered and what better way to do so then through a story. So curl up next to a fire place with a blanket, hot chocolate, and book in hand because things are about to get interesting.
