Mia's summers kind of suck. The main problem is her parents' divorce, well, the custody agreement mainly. Her parents both love her so much that neither of them wanted to let her go. But neither parent loved her enough to stay in the same country. Which has her flying from Estonia to Italy and vice versa every, single, Monday. It's pretty difficult making friends when you're not even around for more than a week at a time. It's the second summer with this arrangement, but this year, there's a difference, every week Mia notices the same boy, on the same flight. And every week like clock work he notices her too. Elliot doesn't know what he wants to do with his life, after graduating he's left with two options, go to university and study architecture, or take a shot at a racing career. His first pick will always be racing, he's got the talent, he's got the drive, and he's got the support. But that life is far from easy. And now that he's preparing for his first season in Formula 3, he's realizing just how hard it is, having to fly between his home and his team's base in Italy every week. He's got one summer to decide, before it's too late, and he has no time for distractions. And yet, the universe seems to give him one, a girl, every week the universe shows him the same girl on his flight, and every week the universe takes her away. Elliot needs to get this girl out of his head, before he makes the wrong choice. Elliot and Mia have one summer. One summer, two countries, two choices, one flight.
