Werewolves are complicated beings. Have been since creation and will continue to be so until the end of time. Although they are complicated, there are some misconceptions about them.
For one, the full moon does not decide the transformation of them. Surely the full moon gives boost in power but they can shift whenever. Second, they do not lose control when they shift. There is a deeper link with the inner wolf certainly but sensible thinking is not just thrown out the window. Third, silver is not the only way to 'kill' one. They can die in normal ways but only in extreme cases. It takes probably around 25 times more force than a human to kill a werewolf but killed nonetheless. Fourth, mates are not absolu- oh no wait. That ones true. So basically once you meet, it is fated and witnessed by the eyes of the Moon Goddess herself.
But often time the pairs that are made makes you wonder what in the world the Goddess's plan is.
Take my story for example. From the get go I was worried long before I even met my mate. When I finally did meet them, I'd like to say that all my doubts went away, but that would most definitely be a lie. I mean if a murderer wanted to take you to bed, you'd be sceptical too, right?

It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life.
