This book is about what happened 10 years after violet and her family died. Her cousin Audrey just graduated from college, and moved out to California to find violet, after what she heard of that violet ran away with her baby brother after her parents were killed. But what she doesn't know is that the police report is wrong. When Audrey gets to California, her parents helped buy the murder house for her, because they knew how much violet meant to her. She thought If she lived in her house it would help her find violet. What she doesn't know is that the house is haunted, she knows about the murders but not the ghosts. He finds a teenage girl and little boy at a abandon amusement park and they tell Ethan a story like no other. Can he put an end to the mysterious murders in the creepy house next door with his little sister and new friends..... or will it get him or the others killed???
