Through this story, he'll learn things about himself that he's never thought about; like the fact that he's gay. He didn't really find that out until he met Seth. At first, he never really thought about him, but then as he goes on, he begins to develop feelings for him like he'd never imagine. He runs into some trouble along the way but he stays strong with the help of Seth and with the help of his friends. He is surprised at how much love can change you whether it's for good or for worse.

Neither of those two boys seem very different from each other, both are kind, well-liked, and very handsome. Even if they aren't friends, you wouldn't expect them to dislike each other. One confrontation in particular goes much too far, resulting in Jay's expulsion from school. With everything seemingly piling up, Jay is very close to his breaking point, and late one night he is blindsided by the unthinkable, pushing him much too far and effectively planting in his mind a cruel and horrific plan for revenge.
