     Meet Amaris Lancaster. A 16 year old sophomore who attends  high school in the small town of Burbank California. With few exceptions of friends and family, she is invisible. But, the one person she will never be invisible to is her best friend Cassie. The two have been inseparable since the day they met in 1st grade. They've been through everything together, and have always been there for each other. Amaris lives with her ever-so-annoying twin brother Alex and mother Sherry Lancaster. Her father however, she never knew, considering the fact he left her mother once he got news of the pregnancy.

    
In her school there is a very simple rule, you don't mess with the populars. The queen-bee of the populars is none other than Natalie Cain. The one who has been in the spotlight since childhood. And you definitely don't  want to get on her bad side...
