In a world of chaos, Aegis Venux has to fight for what she never thought she would.

For her life.

In a world where there's no water on the surface, and only underground, 98% of the population has been wiped out. The surface is now a deserted wasteland, covered by mostly sand and rocks. The cause of such an event was from the sun, growing too large for the Earth to handle.

Now everybody lives underground. Though, there are still materials above ground that the rest of humanity could use.

Aegis and her best friend, James, are part of a team to travel to the surface at night, where they are to gather supplies that might be there. That is, that is their job until something out of the ordinary happens.

An event takes place that will change the lives of humanity forever.
