What happens when you die? Does anybody know? Is there no explanation? I got shot in the woods. I remembered a story my mother once told me and my mind went back to those happy memories, knowing I won't have any again. But I didn't die. I don't know what happened. I see strange people, Asian people who I don't know, doctors and nurses surround me. I'm not injured in any way. I have no idea where I am or any idea of where I could be. And why are they calling me Momoe? Is my name not Catherine? Why do I remember everything?

I don't know if I died or not, but the moment I regained my consciousness, I was already standing on a field full of grass and surrounded by trees. "W-what is that...?" A screen was floating in front of me. 「 Welcome, new adventurer! 」 "Adventur...rer?" But..... I'm so small! My body is the size of a 9 year old kid! And I don't even know what the hell happened to me. After I read some information on the screen, I was amazed that the world I was in was like a VRMMORPG. Magic exists and so does the level. "Huh?" Dragon Reincarnated (Working title)
As an avid- and fairly unsuccessful- writer of fantasy fiction, I know that dragons are pretty much the pinnacle of existence. I dare anyone to argue. So, when my mundane existence comes to an end and I am offered a choice of whatever race I liked upon reincarnating into a fantasy world, of course I chose dragon. Little did I know that my life as a dragon would take more than its fair share of twists and turns. But hey, I was a dragon... Everyone knows you don't mess with dragons. I don't get it. I really don't. I died, I get that much. But waking up in a dark and squishy place, with absolutely NO ROOM to move, I DON'T GET. Let's recap. It was a regular day. I got up, ate, showered and went to work. I was a police officer. I was checking out a house call about domestic abuse. I didn't even get to knock on the door before a man bursted out screaming at a women about calling the pigs on him. It didn't take much to figure out he was the abuser with the way he was holding her arm tight enough to bruise. I tried to diffuse the situation, told him to calm down and let her go.
