Death's life is a book about a man named Mathew Damian Hilt that dies in an alley in new jersey and becomes a "contractor" then starts to realize how mentally draining and strange this "Job" is. Mathew has to watch countless stories with around 5 being in the book. The story ends with a surprising twist to a second book that will be produced depending on the enjoyment of the first book. I am Dire Grim, thirteenth son of the grim reaper, and i was born to be a bringer of death, feared by man... but i guess I'm just as useless as everyone thinks i am; I'm no good at reaping souls. Killing. In fact, I really suck at it... and now I'm trying to figure out whether or not thats a bad thing. As the thirteenth child of the legendary Grim Reaper, Dire Grim is expected to be just like his older siblings, and perhaps, in some ways, he is, but not in the ways that really matter. Sure, he looks like them, and tries to follow in their footsteps, but no matter how much he tries to be the invincible 'lord of death' his father expects him to be, something inside him seems to pull him down a forbidden path that could lead to his true destiny... or his inevitable demise.
