Mel Jackson is finally getting away from her abusive home. When a demon causes her plane to crash in the middle of the ocean, Mel learns about the world hidden from her from the stories her mysterious companion Jacen tells her as they drift in the middle of the ocean.
But for Jacen, this was just a routine job. Find the demon, kill the demon. When his demon kills about 300 people because Jacen failed his job, the guilt of it really gets to hboim. the only person who seems to be able to draw him out is the intriguing Melanie, who is the only other live person on the safety raft with him. When his feeling start to grow for her, will he let them, or will he force them down because of a girlfriend back home?
