Ok! I know I've been a little confusing about stories. But with the first version of the Nightmares sing, it wasn't what I pictured. But I will still write about life after the rebellion. The book im now writing is still going to be The Nightmares Sing. But thank you all for sticking with me!
My name is Katniss Everdeen. Its been two years since the war. I've been alone and depressed ever since.
Peeta has came to visit me. I don't know if I can Handle this. But I know I'm going to have to now matter what.
He stays with me and keeps the nightmares from my past to destroy me. He protects me. I love him for that. Or do I?
Peeta Mellark and Katniss Everdeen. The boy with the bread and the girl on fire. Star-crossed lovers from District 12. Well at least that's what we thought.

This is a story about Everlark. Here is my own interpretation of how Peeta and Katniss realistically rekindle after Mockingjay Part 2, but with a twist. When I was eleven. My whole world changed. Katniss' dad died in a mining accident. You think it wouldn't affect me but I loved him just as much as Katniss did. Maybe even more than I loved my own father. I felt bad, that my own dad couldn't compare to Katniss'. He loved me too though. Loved me like his own. The day he died was the first in a long line of times I have ever seen Katniss cry. She never cried before then but she cried a lot after. Katniss' mother was suppose to get a job after his passing, she didn't. They were starving, dying. I decided to help. After school I would drag Katniss into the woods by her feet. We'd never gone in there without her father. It seemed like a scarier place without him. After some time it wasn't so scary. I don't know what made me volunteer for Katniss. When I heard her name echo throughout the crowd my heart stopped. It wasn't my name, but it was my best friends. There was no way she could survive in there. She had a family, a sister to take care of. I thought my parents could live without me. The name Effie called next was the only name I prayed and prayed I would never hear her say. Peeta Mellark.
