Will has woken up in a strange place with no way of knowing how he got there. The last thing he remembers is being kidnapped by a large, slug-like creature that was black and gray and slimy. He meets an old man, who refuses to tell him why he was kidnapped. Meanwhile, his friend Melissa notices that he's gone when he doesn't come to math class for a week. She decides to do everything in her power to get him to come back to school. Little does she know what she's getting herself into... Until she meets Ryan, who is more than he seems.
