Last time I wrote, it was concerning paperwork for my plan on how I would divorce my parents. Emancipation.  Little did I know, I would be signing my name to divorce the world. The process seemed so skeptical and I missed to cite any remote  evidence of how beneficial this entire outcome could be. At the point of desperation I was to empty myself of any thoughts, disappointments and accomplishments. I didn't realize I had triggered a domino effect that would carry on my sister's shoulder. What I couldn't contribute to the world while I was in it, was left to the worrisome hands of a girl growing up too fast, where reality was kicking our asses.All Rights Reserved

Pushing off the sink in irritation, I turn to leave but he grabs my bare upper arm. My blood boils in annoyance while my skin tingles with excitement. He perks a brow, obviously sensing it. "Your aura is in disarray," he states bleakly. "Yeah, no shit Sherlock." My Earthly phrase earns me a tilt of his head and I scoff. "Where have you been, Beta?" "On a mission in the Xin Galaxy." "Okay? Would it not be wise to inform your OA of any missions that require your departure? Let go." I pull against his grip and he reluctantly lets go. My eye twitches and wordlessly, I turn away once more but his grip on my arm returns, this time more gentle, as if pleading rather than restraining. "I only meant that this mission did not require you to accompany me as my OA in pretence. It's safer to stay with your younglings out of sight anytime the role is not needed," his voice softer. "You disappeared after you..." I pause and shake my head. I feel embarrassed to say it out loud to him. I feel embarrassed at how much it affected me. We're on a quest to find other survivors and potentially save our planet, but to do that we have to avoid being shot, eaten, or falling in love. But sometimes things work out differently than we expect, and we have to make the decision: sacrifice ourselves for the ones we love, or the ones we love for the ones we can save.
