He faced away from her. He couldn't bear tears in her eyes.
"I just had to." He softly replied.

"That's not a good enough answer, Waafi..."

Rayna Yousuf had always been the pampered girl of her parents. She had always been a marvelous student and an obedient daughter.  She had her future well planned and she knew she could do it. But fate always doesn't favor people as it seems to have a whole new series of plans and of course very much different from anyone can think of. In the most important examination of her life, Rayna couldn't ace like she always did. And she landed on an all elite private institution, to be specific, a private medical school. Her constant topper position was no more and she found herself in a completely new world full of envy, selfishness and egotism. Little did she know, during these hardships, she will find some extremely authentic friendships and a true companionship.

Waafi Hassan had a troubled childhood. After losing his mother at a very tender age, he literally became the guardian for his younger siblings. He had to grow up fast and gave up his dream to study abroad. His father's stubbornness made him admitted to a medical college which was never his aim. He found it really hard to cope up with something that was far from his liking. He thought he will never get through this but Allah is the most merciful, the ultimate planner. Waafi found what he was searching all his life - An unconditional love.

Explore the journey of two tormented souls who will eventually find solace in each other through a series of events which will shake them to the core and eventually build a platform for their future.
