Ya'ninae is more than pissed about her move from her hometown Chicago to Compton. Moving out of one hood where she grew up at,where her family stays,where everyone knew her to another hood where she knows no one,and there was absolutely no family, nobody she vibes with. The big move plus her dad dying just a month before. Not only that, in the first week she's there, she already has a target on her back from fighting the well known king pin's sister. Yeah you could say her life's pretty shitty right now but Ya'ninae doesn't care one bit. She is a 18 year old senior, with a reckless mouth and even more reckless hands. She doesn't take disrespect lightly and will fight anybody anytime,anyday with ease. Don't think just because she fights she's dumb, that's just the hood in her. 4.0 with scholarships from 3 of the most prestige collages. Making it out is her goal and she won't let anybody or anything get in her way...or will she.? Now while Ya'ninae knows what she wants and knows how to handle herself there's always someone out there who can do it better right.? What happens when Jayshawn and her meet.?
