Being a king is hard. Raising a son is hard. Living with eternal grief is hard. King Thranduil is just trying to keep his kingdom running and his son safe when an elf is found with orcs at the border of Greenwood. Who could this mysterious elf truly be? But then the elf he rescued in the forest grows closer to Legolas, and Thranduil can not help but enjoy her company as well. Darkness descends over the forest, all because of this one elf. When lives are threatened, Thranduil must make a choice: his kingdom or his heart. 12/14/21- y'all I wrote this in high school and I kinda want to go through it again and do a bunch of editing. Some of my writing makes me cringe and what are we here for if not improvement. That being said, this story will change starting today probably and if you're in the middle of it, hopefully I don't confuse details or timelines for you. If you've already read it once and just felt like you had to read it again, maybe it will provide some new enjoyment. Who knows? This is my first story, and I'm writing this mostly for fun, so don't get mad if it's not on par with all these gods of writing. Meet Angel, a girl just trying to get by in this living torture she calls a life. Being abused by her father, and living life in constant fear, she does her best to get by. What happenes when she tries to get away from all the hardship, but only ends up finding more? And maybe even finding someone that can save her from her own misserable life. Note from future self: This story is extremely cringy and only gets worse as it goes on. When I was writing it there was a whole bunch of other stuff going on so I was rushing away too much to actually get it done. Content warning: Contains graphic descriptions and extreme violence. Reader discretion is advised. Note from the future - This is very cringy now that I look back at it. I ended up rushing to finish it after like chapter 4 (which shows) so just warning the quality gets worse as it goes on T-T.
