Young Harley has heard a lot of strange things while living in the orphanage. Ewan says frogs can grow a third eye if one eye turns blind. Mary-Anne says sleeping with trousers on can cut off your legs. Harley knows when to distinguish fact from fiction because of this. But what happens when a strange man with a long silver beard comes and tells her she is a witch? Her mother's a witch, her father's a wizard, and so is her brother. She has a brother! His name's Harry.

Now she's suddenly whisked into a world full of magic. Spells and potions and flying brooms. But she's 13. She's missed two years of Hogwarts education and needs to catch up, all while getting used to finally having a family, discovering the magical wizarding world, and making new friends who don't spew strange "facts."
