A girl named Aubrie meets a boy who changes everything about her life. He reveals a secret to her so strange nobody would ever guess it. So strange it could drive her to insanity... Aubrie walked through the cold crisp November air, carefully placing her steps on in front of another. There was a flash by her left side. She deeply exhaled, and watched the white breath escape her lungs, and continued walking. Things like this happened to her often. Aubrie always saw stuff as a child, and she still does see some stuff and hear things nobody would appreciate hearing. A boy, with dark hair, similar to hers walked up to her. Upon her closer inspection, he seemed around her age, roughly 16 years old. He had one green eye and one blue. There was a spark inside Aubrie, one she had never felt before.

She was the outsider. The girl that sat at the back of the class and never raised her hand. The girl the sat alone at lunch because everyone thought she was weird for not speaking. She was the girl that had a million thoughts running through her head but had zero guts to say them. She was the girl you don't normally fall for but, then, she became the girl that captured the heart of the guy everyone loved. ---- "Shit, I'm sorry" A deep voice mumbled squatting down to help her up. A rough hand pulled her up and her blurry vision landed on dark eyes. She blinked a few times and her vision came back. Standing in front of her was a boy about her age. A very attractive boy. He was almost a foot taller than her 5'3 height. His black hair was slicked back and his tan skin radiated under the fluorescent school lights. Her mouth was slightly ajar as she stared at him. She hadn't realized how close she was to him until she felt his breath on her lips. She jerked away, grabbed her glasses on the floor and ran away in the opposite direction leaving the boy to furrow his eyebrows at her behavior. However, a small smirk played on his lips as he placed his hands in his jeans pockets and turned in the opposite direction. 'Stupid, Stupid, Stupid' She thought to herself.
