He just wants to be a writer. But life and family traditions press and pressure young, not to forget his lack of friends, Kousei at a very start of age 15. With his Mother trying to influence Kousei to become like a doctor, like his father, he is sent to start assisting a nurse with a patient . Kousei would find himself helping a boy his age by the name of Yochii, a boy who has practical lived in that hospital since he was 6 and only would be cured at the age 20. Although it starts off rough and silent, they slowly begin to open up to each other.
