Being a new kid can be a scary thing, especially for Emerson Paige. She moved across the country, away from her boyfriend and best friend thinking she would be alone for the rest of her high school experience. But boy was she wrong. She immediately gets a new best friend in her first class of the day, and there's another new kid going right along with her. The thing is, the other new kid is deaf and Emerson is loving being able to learn a whole new way of speaking to talk to him.
This story is a mix of drama, romance, laughter, and tears. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it.
