Ruby Avila seems to be your typical everyday punk-rock-gothic-don't-mess-with-me kinda girl.
Lizzy Verona seems to be your typical best-friend-to-Ruby-second-scariest-girl-in-school kinda girl.
And Axel Ryker is just the mysterious-dark-hot-tag-along to Ruby and Lizzy.

The three are punk rockers. The 10th grade's pretty difficult, and they realize that. Moving throughout the year's not gonna be any easier. But they've all got goals, and dreams. Even though they're the scariest, meanest, best looking, vicious, and demon-like people at school, their straight forward, and know how to have fun. Sticking up for each other, and living a good life's pretty much how they go.

Ruby being amazing at guitar, singing, and image.
Lizzy being wonderful at electric piano, guitar, and programming.
Axel being awesome with drums, style, and editing.

Ruby's got strength, confidence, and a big mouth. Lizzy's got patience, wits, and a death glare. Axel? Well he's got a perverted, mischievous, and nasty attitude.
They're all for each other, and got one hell of a backstory, along with one hell of a criminal record. Don't mess with them!! Let alone their dream of becoming a punk rock band, they band together.
But what if the darkness they hid so well leaked into their life?

They know they're crazy.
It's not like they care.
It's hard work being,
Dysfunctional....

TW: this book may contain mentions of violence and of suicide. DISCLAIMER #1: I wrote this story when I was a teen and while some mental disorders are the focal point, they may not be accurate representations as I was far from being a psychologist. There are several things Lynn doesn't quite get about the world she lives in, which makes it harder for her to figure herself out. She is not your average teenager. She's young, intelligent, though something about her is off by now. Everyone is quick to misjudge and point fingers, everything and everyone is so corrupted that she's afraid she'll lose herself among a bunch of wandering, empty souls. Therapy can only help so much, depression is hard to die, and in Lynn's case it's caused solely by the fact she doesn't 'fit in'. She can't really find her place in the world. But there's something really special about her; Her dreams are haunted by a wonderful, mystical place. No one understands her, they think she's off her rocker, that she needs to cut her childish daydreams. But Lynn knows deep in her heart that place really exists, and she'll do anything to find it, with the help of some new found friends. There's only one thing she must do: Keep an open mind, it brings open hearts and open eyes. -- DISCLAIMER #2 This fanfiction is inspired to Mind Over Matter by Pvris and their lyrics in general. All you read here is fiction. every reference to real events or people is purely coincidental. I do not own the songs featured in the book. I sit down on my bike looking around the school parking lot. Listening to music, I stand up begin to walk through the student-less parking lot. Honestly, it's not like I meant to be late. My music cut out causing me to hear a whistle. I stop in my tracks and pull my headphones down to my neck. Turning around, I seen a group of men with one guy who just smirked at me. "You new here beautiful?" one of the guys asked. "What do you think Einstein?" cocking my brow. "Ohh. Challenging? I like." he says walking towards me, about two inches away. "Really?" biting my lip, as he continued walking towards me. He reaches out and grabs my hip, "Mmhmm," smiling down at me. Swiftly, I grab his hand, turn him around, kick him right above the back of his knee, and pushes down so he's on his knees in front of me in a position of which I could brake his arm, "What a shame, 'cause personally, I don't like fuck boys with various STD'S." I look at all the men in the group who had their jaws dropped, all except for one, "Touch me one more time, and I'll brake your arm in two." I stand and kick his back so he falls on the concert. "Anyone else?" they stare at me blankly. "Didn't think so." When fuck boy tries to get up, I take my foot and slam him back down. Looking back at the boys, I say, "Later boys." Then, I turn and leave. ~~~~ Truce Mane is a girl who recently moved to New York with her youngest niece and nephew along with her uncle Mike. Truce went through many things as a child. She still went through them. Her mother blamed her for everything. She would get into Street fights. As in, she would fight in a dark alley with whoever she could. Sounds bad, huh? Wrong. *** Dante Kings is the most feared gang leader across the world. While he does have his fuck and Chuck's, he's been looking for his princess. He vowed that when he found her, she'd be his and he would treat her like a queen. When the spit fire moves to town and believes he's finally found her. Has he?

COVER IS BY KAY_OFFICIAL ON INSTAGRAM THIS IS NOT MY ART This is an AU where Velvet and Veneer have actual talent. They start off as just kids that like singing. Slowly, they become the most famous singers in all of Mount Rageous. They're also not teenagers in the later chapters. I'll say when. This one is kind of graphic. There's a lot more angst in this. Also, Veneer and Velvet's parents aren't dead like in my other fanfic. Veneer is the more likable twin of the two. He was bullied by a small group of kids though. They were just always jealous that the teachers liked him. He was always the "teachers pet." Veneer never disrespected the teachers. He just never liked being mean for no reason. Was pretty shy as a kid. Now that he's older, he's got some sass, due to his sister. He loves cooking and gardening with his mother. His father doesn't love him that much because he's more "girly" than most guys. Velvet, the less likable twin. She has quite a few friends. Of course, she brings Veneer along with her. She doesn't want her brother to be alone. She would never let anyone hurt her brother. She was a horrible singer until she started getting classes. She's a spoiled brat but loving to her brother. She absolutely hates her mother. She was always the pretty twin. She was a model ever since she was young. Kid Ritz was more of a loner. He never had any true friends. He had one that did awful things to him when he was younger and vulnerable. He loved playing the Cello. He also loves talking to others, not for very long though usually. He's never really had anyone to help him when he struggled in school. No one to cry on or rely on. He's also always loved reading. He just goes to a whole other world whenever he reads. That's the only he can really escape from all the negativity around him. Also, this will have mentions of SH, abuse, bullying, sexual things, groping, underage drinking, sexual abuse, neglect, substance abuse, and heavy drinking.
