"What are you doing out here?" The young Alpha asked me, his forest green eyes full of concern. "Running." I answered simply. And it was true, I was running. Running from the mate that rejected me. I screamed and pushed at him but he didn't budge. I then raised my knee and kneed him between the legs with all my force, and he dropped like a rock, holding his groin. Run. I took my chance.
