The Art of Deforming

Phan AU where everyone has a tattoo representing your soulmate and/or something about them. The easy ones get the other's first or middle name. The hard ones get a symbol of their favorite thing or the thing they hate most but they always have the same thing of each other. As time goes on, people start trying to get rid of their tattoos and rebel against the system. These people are known as deformers.

Dan and Phil have been best friends since before they remember. Neither has seen the other's tattoo as it is frowned upon showing your tattoo to someone you aren't sure is your soulmate.
