Living Life With Debbie: A short story

Living my life with Debbie Norting has been anything but ordinary. It started off great, another best friend! Then we grew up.
First day of grade six, the black haired thirteen year old, Debbie, had just transferred to my school. She was already thirteen because she started school one year late. I already had a best friend, Elizabeth. We decided to make it our mission to give Debbie new best friends!
It was amazing having two best friends. Everything was perfect throughout grade six. Over that summer, Debbie and I got close when Elizabeth went to camp. Elizabeth found out that Debbie and I had our first sleepover without her, and she stopped being our friend. Debbie liked that. Once grade seven started, I was all Debbie's.
Six years later, grade twelve. Between the times she was too clingy, and the times she was too distant. I was ready to move on. But she wasn't.
