Andrea/Andie Scarlett is known as a nerd. She gets all A's and never gets into any trouble. But what people don't know about her is she has dark secrets and a dark past.

She has no friends other than her brother and his bestfriend. Her mom forces her to get the grades she has. She's in an abusive relationship.

These are all factors that caused her depression.

Then comes Ryder Knight.

He's best friends with Andie's brother, David. He's known as the bad boy of the school.

He smokes, drinks, skips school, and sleeps around with girls. The only girl he cares about is Andie. He starts to develop feelings for Andie but pushes those feeling aside for the fact that he's best friends with her brother.

Not only that but he has a dark secret of his own. He tries to help her through her depression and keep her away from his secret.
