Adella had her life all figured out, she was going to marry the man of her dreams, Henry, captain of the guards and live a normal life, that was until her father was murdered in battle by their enemies. Now she is in a war within herself to decide to become Queen or let someone else take over, but in doing so everything that she had planned will go untouched and her love for Henry will just remain exactly that.

Adella is now faced with a decision to marry a man who for one she despises and for two because her kingdom was threatened, But at what cost will Adella have? Losing Henry for one, and possibly her life if she isn't careful. 

Adella's country is at a risk, her friends are at stake and her kingdom is at mind.  Will Adella be  able to marry the prince, or will her hearts desire take over her?
