Alanna's no stranger to life's hardships and she's had her share of different homes but due to her dad's new promotion, she and her adoptive parents are yet again on the move. However this time, something's up. Relocating to Farrell Oaks, Alanna faces a strange new unfamiliarity with a change of scenery. She comes across some chilling characters-a boy in particular who wears mystery on his sleeve as well as in his heart.
