The bumper of the eighteen-wheeler, centimetres away from Max's and Chloe's backs. Shards of glass hanging mid-air. Chloe's hand, frozen as she tried to reach for Max, to touch her, as the final act of her life. Max gripped Chloe's outstretched hand tightly and kept pulling at the fabric of time. Then she felt she was falling. ------------------------------------------ A dozen white-feathered arrows with heads of bright steel pointed in the direction of Max and Chloe. Chloe, standing in front of Max, spread her arms, as if she was a dragon, able to shield others with her wings. And in Max's eyes, she was.

There love grows stronger over the years and is made stronger when Chloe want to make that love last forever. TRIGGER WARNING!!! I do deviate from game story and add in themes of self-harm. Only in like the first chapter though so don't worry the rest is mainly fluff but fair warning there will be a smut paragraph eventually if I keep this going long enough.
