Evelyn is a young flapper, used to the highlife. She loves to drink and party. She also loves to use the wealthy men that fall at her feet.

James is a musician. He doesn't have much money and what he does have goes into his music.

What happens when a flapper falls for a musician she knows she shouldn't be with?

Set in 1920's America, after meeting once at a party, Evelyn finds herself falling for a poor musician who is hired by a lot of the hosts of the parties. However, she knows she should stay away, but that doesn't stop her falling into bed with him more than once.
