I am a king, ruler of humans. I am a Watchman, ruler of secret realms. I am an assassin, killer of demons. But most important I am a Believer, the last of my kind. And I have a quest: to rescue the very evil I kill daily in order to save my people. It is not easy ruling humans, those unaware of the secret realms or the demons who walk amongst them. It is even more arduous to rule for the realms I despise. Scoffing, they believe I serve their cause, and am but a weak ruler in the 'Isle of Nothing' so they jest. But I deceive the great realms. I have stolen their heir and hide him from their eyes. I now train demons and humans side by side. I draw the powers of trees, and when I raise the Ancient from the dead greed shall draw every realm into the king's lands. My lands! War shall erupt and with good cause for there is more. The ancient they wish to possess is only the beginning. What rises along side of him shall bring them to their knees. I then shall pay for what I, the king, have done, pay for being a Believer and forfeit my life.

My Alpha barged into my room and started speaking softly but very threateningly, "you didn't make dinner, Why is that? Do you want to die tonight. There is already fighting and we haven't got anything to distract him with!" And with that he was on top of me, beating me senseless. I screamed, hoping maybe this visiting Alpha was kind enough to help me. I heard footsteps and smelled a familiar smell. "Help!" Was all I wheezed out before blacking out. *I AM AWARE OF HOW SUCKISH THIS BOOK IS. IT WAS MY FIRST BOOK AND I'VE GOTTEN BETTER. I WILL NOT BE EDITING THIS BECAUSE I AM A HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT WITH NO TIME ON HER HANDS.
