If returning home with a university degree in medicine wasn't enough, Layla finally gets to see her best friend Joe after a long 4 years. Before Layla got accepted into Stanford University in the U.S to study medicine, Joe and her had a on and off romance but came to an end once Layla left the country. Expecting to come back to Britain with a sense of normality, she realises it's far from normal after she discovers Joe's in a new relationship and it's more serious than she imagined.
