Our Journey With Him [A Christian Romance]
Stephanie Darasimi Ajayi is a 27 year old freelance interior designer in Lagos, Nigeria. At that age, with no prospective husband, everyone starts to bother her about finding a partner, but no one seems to get that she is trusting God's timing with her future spouse. He has promised her that He has someone for her, but she has to trust His timing. Omotayo Jayden Williams just turned 30. Although he owns a thriving restaurant, his mum has decided not to see past the fact that he is not married and seems to have no desire for women. Why can't she understand that he just needs time to heal from his last relationship and reconnect with God. They meet in a not-so-pleasant way at a friend's wedding and seem to keep seeing each other around. Coincidence?... I think not. Come on this journey with Stephanie and Tayo as they seek to put God first while navigating this thing called life. ~ "Are you really upset with me? He walks up to me and with his arms wrapped around my waist and my back to his chest, he whispers slowly delivering gentle kisses to my neck "Ife mi, ayo mi, eni okan mi (my love, my joy, the one who owns my heart), please forgive me for teasing you about your hair" I giggle at his attempt to win my forgiveness even though we both know that I wasn't really angry. Turning to face him, I'm in awe by the fact that this is what my life is now; engaged to this beautiful, God seeking, loving, intelligent man, I'm nothing short of blessed. God really does keep his promises. "Forgiven." ~ This book will not contain explicit scenes or cursing, but it will include the everyday struggles of anyone seeking God in this generation... That being said, I pray this book reaches and helps someone who feels like they relate to the topics in this book... HAPPY READING 🤗🫶🏾

Dear (diary)....... Today is August 1 2016. Does that ring a bell? I just hope it does because if it doesn't ring a bell to your ears you're dead. Like really dead⚰ I'm going to tear you off and after that I'll burn you and dispose your ashes. So be warned! Well in case you forgot today is August 1 2016. Which means it is 25 days to go. Yay! Too Good to Be Real
She felt his warm palm on her wrist and at once she was facing him. Without warning, his lips engulfed hers, setting her on fire just like she did him. His lips were warm and soft and she revelled in it as she shut her eyes, her body instantly warming up to the kiss. She wrapped her arms around him, marvelling at how their bodies fit perfectly together. It felt so good, like her head was rotating. Nothing else mattered. Just the two of them. This was all she needed. Someone who accepted her for her. Her flaws, her beauty, herself, hook line and sinker. She withdrew reluctantly, angry she had to stop the kiss and also afraid someone had seen them. As she stared into his eager eyes, she knew she loved him but she couldn't help thinking she was doing the wrong thing. She loved him, but it wasn't fair to his girl.
