This story is about Minhyo, your average Internet obsessed girl. She fell for the average band geek, and oh man, she landed hard. In her time of hurt, just like any rough spot she's ever gone through, her friends are there for her in every way possible.
Even though her life is as average as they come, the people she surrounds herself with make her feel extraordinary.
The only question is will her story have a happy ending?

The second I saw her my skin heated and heart skipped a beat. I knew I had to know who she was. I knew I just needed to be near her. After my horrible marriage I knew getting involved with anyone was the worst thing I could possibly do. The problem was the girl of my dreams was standing right in-front of me partially guarded. She knew my family and knew about my past which should scare me away, but it doesn't it only draws me closer to her. My brother is getting married, I'm the best man, she's the maid of honor. If I screw this up even a little bit everyone is going to have my ass. The second I saw him my mouth went dry. His sculpted arms in that t-shirt covered in ink, my body was telling me to run the other way, to not get involved with this gorgeous dangerous man with a military past. Those gorgeous blue eyes however pulled me in and saw right through every part of me. He's my best friends soon to be brother-in-law, and I have legal custody of a child that isn't mine. New Girl
"You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest. He wore a leather-mans jacket from the school over the t-shirt, with black denim jeans, and converse. I swallowed. I snapped out of it and took the paper forcing myself to say "thanks." However, he walked away before I even finished. OK... he obviously isn't interested in the 'new girl' like all the other students are. I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Out of all the guys that have hit on me in school today he is the only one that has caught my eye -- bad news is that he didn't even bother. "You know him? I'm surprised the cheer-bitch hasn't threatened you yet." Jessica said, her face showing shock. "Um, no I don't know him... and cheer-bitch?" I frowned confused. "She's his ex-girlfriend, but considering she has such a small brain that is a size of a peanut, she won't leave him alone. I mean like seriously, EX; has she not heard of that quote, 'Thanks for the EXperience, Our time has EXpired, now EXit my life.' She is one clueless bimbo. Minho stared at the sun dipping slowly, calmly, below the horizon. He opened his mouth to ask a question. "Hey, Chan?" He asked, eyes still focused at the sun threatening to disappear and later reveal the moon that was awaiting it's time to rise. Quiet. Mysterious. Elegant? He couldn't describe the moon. He didn't like how he couldn't describe it. But all he knew, is that he would always prefer the sun. Chan hummed. "Why do you like the sea?" Minho's question must've surprised Chan. Judging by the way his eyebrows arched and a faint glimmer of curiosity-or maybe shock. It was a question he wasn't expecting-swarmed around his chocolate coloured eyes. He paused to think. "It's warm." Chan replied, eyes following the waves calmly. As if that action gave him peace. Minho pouted, "It's not always warm." "Exactly. That's why you find me here at this time." He nodded. "It's beautiful." Minho bit back a question. "It's.." Chan looked into Minho's eyes. "It's something you'll never understand the beauty of until you start looking between the gaps." Minho allowed a little smile to play on his features as he let out a little soft sound of acknowledgement. And Chan wondered if he was still talking about the sea. "You don't love me, you can't love me." My body shakes uncontrollably as I fall to the ground, sobbing into my hands as I try to muffle the sound desperately. "Just let me love you, I can't love you if you won't allow me to idiot," a whisper echoes through the walls as he squats down next to me, placing his hand on my back, rubbing, small, reassuring circles. ... It was never supposed to be like this, why did I let this happen? Hyunjin and Y/n lived in the same neighborhood. They were best friends for the longest time until Y/n was forced to move schools right before high school. Four years have gone by and Y/n grew a new persona. She doesn't smile anymore like she used to, she doesn't wear her hair in pigtails, and she doesn't wear those big, round, glasses everyone used to make fun of her for. When she moved her parents took away all forms of communication from her, thinking that she didn't deserve the love and care she was getting. She managed to keep in contact with one friend because their parents were friends, but she lost all contact with Hyunjin. She felt horrible for it, she cared about him the most and never got to say goodbye like she planned. After her parents kick her out to go live with her grandparents, she moves back to her hometown hoping that no one will recognize her. Hyunjin felt betrayed when Y/n left, she left without a goodbye and didn't speak a single word to him in the past four years. Without her around, he grew close to Chan's group of friends. The summer before high school started, Hyunjin and his friends matured and all the girls in school found them attractive. They fought for the boys attention but Hyunjin only thought of Y/n regardless of all the pining girls. He hated that she constantly ran through his mind, wishing he could just forget about her. As everyone walks into their 4th period, two people catch each other's gaze. One feels guilt bubble up in their stomach and the other boils with resentment.
