Katya and Jace are Hunters, and they're good at it, fuelled by anger and hatred for Vampires the two siblings are inseparable, or at least, they think so. They've met one Vampire that seems to be stronger than anything they have ever come across, then there's the fact that he's damn good at messing with them and Katya has made one rookie mistake that has cost her everything.
She's turning into a vampire, on the brink of taking her own life, she's fighting off every urge and instinct that's forming within her. Jace has no choice but to find some way to cure her before he's forced to murder his own sister, and the monster that has caused Katya's misery is set on claiming her as his own little play toy and she's finding it ever so hard to plunge a stake in his heart when she herself is growing to feel for the monster.
There's one big fault in their plan, Jace isn't going to let that happen.
