Riley and Lucas are part of the outsiders a group of misfits at John Quincy Adams middle school, in an alternative story where Riley is a shy, quiet girl being bullied at school all the thing. With her father not being the history teacher. Lucas's Secret of getting expelled in his school in Texas was exposed early destroying the whole purpose of starting over. Maya isn't friends with Riley but really wants to fix their relationship. And a hierarchy is in place in the school. And Elliot is here.
