In April of 1972, Mary Poppins' author P.L. Travers wrote, "Someday, I hope to tell the whole story". While these secrets were never openly revealed, Ms. Travers left behind several clues as to the origins of the world's most beloved nanny. They can be found hidden deep within the context of her Mary Poppins series, as well through her other works. Perhaps her greatest clues are most evident in the stories P.L. Travers (nee Helen Lyndon Goff), created about her own origins. Ms. Travers stated she did not write stories for children and POPPINS is written in honor of her intent. It is a story to be read by adults to children, as they both discover the origin of all magic lies with the hidden treasures of childhood. All Rights Reserved
