His green eyes stared into mine with anger, "I told you to stay away Kay". His voice was husky like and a little bit frantic. I knew he was overcome with jealousy, the most common way he shows his love to me. "Don't you trust me Hunter? Huh? I thought you loved me?" I took a step backwards, but only to be cornered by the wall of his bedroom. He took a step closer, his eyes dark with lust. His hands placed themselves beside my head quite forcefully. He knelt down, I could feel his breath across my lips. I grew hot, as my cheeks turned red. His voice filled the atmosphere; "I'll show you how much I love you sweetheart" A smirk played across his lips right before he smashed them onto the top of mine. Our lips, moving in sync. His motorcycle helmet fell to the floor, my eyes opened as his lips grazed my neck. The moonlight glistens off the helmets shiny surface, and then I see the word. The word that summed up the life of Hunter Knoles.

I thought since we never seen each other for a month he would be glad to see me, instead I find him lip locking with another she-wolf. "What the hell is this?" I growled. "What is what?" He asked confused. "Don't play stupid Hunter, this. You are kissing Rachel in front of me, your mate." Hunter chuckled, "My mate? You must be mistaken but Rachel is my mate."

I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.

"I'm offended. You think I'm trying to 'charm' you," he uses air quotations before slamming me against the wall right next to the bed, "When all I have to do is wink to get you to flood your underwear." "I'd like to see you try." I grind out, causing him to smirk at me. A different one this time. One that unsettled me. His lips curved up nicely, yes, but his eyes weren't sparkling with mischief. He didn't seem too happy with me calling him out the way I did. "Bet," he inhaled sharply before backing away from me, his smirk lifting higher, and it morphed into a beautiful smile. "See you at practice, bitch." Carson 'Storm' Speros and Raine Carter have a long way to go, battling through the abnormalities of their unique college and the tough time sharing a baseball team. Will Raine start to see the light in Carson and accept him? We'll see.
