It was eating the flesh of a dead man. The sight made her sick to her stomach, and the creature targeted her next. That's when the man she saw in the distance intervened. He had some kind of training to fight something like that, and the woman had to go through it now too. To the public she was dead, but to the creepy pastas she was next in line to being their worst nightmare.
