May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Survive.

This is the only thing Cass has in mind for the coming months. And it’s not for herself, not really.
Cassandra South-Kennedy is angry. At least that’s what most of the people around her believe. Between being locked up for becoming too powerful and discovering truths about herself and her heritage, it’s not like she doesn’t have a reason.

After Peter Marks rescued her from Cold Creek, all she has on her mind is revenge. She can feel the end coming, at least the end of this chapter of her life. Only problem is, as she sets up the conclusion of her revenge plan, there’s the little matter of settling the deal she’s made with the rather unsavory Dark Ghost who has possessed her uncle.

It’s a fine line Cass is preparing to walk but the final result, in her mind, is worth all the months of pain, sacrifice, and suffering she must endure and dish out in order to place her pieces correctly on the board to end the game that was started long before she was born.

Soon it becomes apparent why: Mason is a werewolf. But when a fight turns into a sudden kiss that neither expects, Kieran's feelings for Mason turn to attraction in an instant. None of it makes sense - vampires and werewolves are supposed to be mortal enemies, so why does Kieran find Mason so irresistible? He knows that each kiss is dangerous, each bite is unpredictable...
