(Book One) Daniel Howell works as the local tattoo artist. He is said to be the best in the whole town. He is very good at what he does and is encouraged by others to take his "art skill" to higher and intermediate levels.
Next door is Philip Lester. Philip is a florist and everyone comes from all over town. From the outskirts to Central-City, people always come to admire the beautiful peonies and roses that Philip grows himself.
The two have worked next door to each other for many years and see each other close up shop countless times. The only problem is they have never spoken to each other, not once.
