Kiev lives with his presumably widowed mother and older brother Autry. He's changed his surname two times already (illegally of course) and is no longer able to attend school, so self-studies textbooks at home. There's things he knows(learnt from Autry) and things he doesn't (hidden away by his mother).
But the little that Kiev DOES know, is completely undermined when he finds himself the victim of an experiment that changes everything around him.
Please note: this world is slightly different from Tokyo Ghoul's. Also for those who have only heard of Tokyo Ghoul in passing, the story shouldn't be too difficult to understand (explanations shall be given when they are due).

I don't own the the story of Tokyo ghoul and Tokyo ghouls re or the characters. I only own Yasha and small little plot lines I create. Yasha Natsumi is living in japan around all the ghoul attacks but she became an investigator to pay back a certain investigator for saving her but she has a power to know what will happen and when and can hear things most people cant. She brushed it off at as just being lucky. On top of that she can heal fast despite low RC levels but has constant injuries and memories that haunt her more than she can handle. One day she's In a café and meets a certain young ghoul and creates a friendship while creating a special relationship with a special investigator. They live amongst humans and hunt to feed and a group of humans known as investigators are train to kill ghouls and protect humanity from this growing threat. In Tokyo, Japan, the Commission of Counter Ghoul, also known as the CCG, is the Tokyo's primary defense against all ghoul attacks with in the city. Most vicious and dangerous ghouls aren't afraid of the CCG expect for two investigators. The first is Kishou Arima, the White Reaper, who is said to be the strongest and most powerful investigator within the CCG. The second investigator is Y/N L/N, The Ghoul Hunter. Y/N is Arima's own student as well as the second best investigator of the CCG, but little does the CCG know.... ....that he is a half-ghoul that is known as SS+ rank ghoul codenamed the One Eyed Reaper.... Y/N is different from most ghouls due to him being a half-breed meaning he can eat human food but he still needs to feed on human flesh once and a while. Y/N also strictly kills criminals and feeds on their flesh but he is also feared in the ghoul world since he also kills other ghouls who cross his path. Y/N lives a double life as a CCG investigator and a wanted ghoul and he is determined to create a world where ghouls and humans can co-exist. Y/N even runs his own little safe haven in the 20th ward of Tokyo where he helps peaceful ghouls survive against other ghouls and the CCG.
