Ten-year-old Rebecca and her seven-year-old brother Ray went to the family campground on July seventeenth to celebrate Ray's eighth birthday. Their parents realized that they had to buy something, and left the siblings alone for two hours while they drove to the convenience store.

It was the last two hours of Ray's life.

The parents came onto the campground and found Rebecca standing still in shock, staring at the ground. Where her dead brother lay.

Police never identified the source of death. Ray dying scarred the whole family. Rebecca suffered worst of all.

Now, Rebecca is sixteen. Sometimes, terrifying flashbacks come to haunt her, even though she never remembers what happened. But she's determined to find the cause of her brother's death.

With her new friends Evelyn Ryder and Myra Cirova, Rebecca begins tracking down her brother's killer... and it leads her to something shocking. And changed her world.

Forever.
