Nina Macami, a calm and distant girl, chooses to be alone. She has few friends, but she hardly ever talks to them. Nina doesn't feel bad for herself, but instead finds the positives of herself, her life, and her friends.
However positive Nina seems, it's all for show. After getting asked out by a guy who's widely admired in her school, she's gotten threatened, beaten, and made fun of more times than she can count.
To keep a promise she made with her Aunt, she requests to be taken to a graveyard on the end of a street called "Evergreen Street". After returning home, she again requests to be taken to the graveyard, but this time, not to visit.
