Nathan was born with a curse. Every month, he would wake up with a name carved into the back of his right hand and a sacrificial dagger somewhere on his person. His job would be to kill the person who's name was gouged into his hand. If he did not "collect" the person within 24 hours a horrible pain would go through his entire body which would not subside until he finished his mission. This hellish cycle went on fine in his life until Lauren Sanders showed up at his school. She was the most beautiful girl he ever met and always found a way to be with him. Then one day, Nathan woke up in a familiar pain, a name was being gouged into his hand. The name was Lauren Sanders.
