It was two years after the war and most of the world was laid to waste, what remained of it was taken over by the gargants an enemy force stronger than any other. What was left of free nations scattered to areas of the globe with little interest to the Gargant force. There were only three free territories left in the world: Helren, Trew, and Balcrew. Most of the armed forces had been eradicated by the enemy forces, only the common folk remain. After the Third World War, in 2026, Earth experienced what the people called, "the Great Calamity". this world wide disaster destroyed much of the worlds nations, but leaving North America and the Caribbean. left with no choice what was left of the old world went into isolation. after years of fighting in North America, the United States Of America was left, the sole surviving nation of the old world. with what technology they had, the US has vowed to keep the memory of the old and free the new of lies. and there's nothing to stop them from doing it. It's the end of Battle of Belleau Wood, but as the final Germans surrendered to the marines, a massive portal opened in the middle of Belleau Wood and in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. The world stood shocked as the portal spewed out black creatures... Grimm. After the loss of an estimated 10,000~ soldiers the countries had decided to end this war and to take the fight to the monsters who wreaked havoc across the battlefield, not realizing it was a portal to a whole new world. Together forming the earliest version of the UN, instead called the 'United Monarchies and Democracies of the World' or the UMDW. Now let's watch as the countries march and fight their way through the new world. (A/N) Some changes will be made to the WW1 timeline, but 99% is accurate.
