Have you ever fully believed a person? Have you ever trusted someone so much, that all the signs of betrayal just seemed too insignificant to even consider? Have you ever felt so helpless that the ground beneath you seemed to fade? It's amazing how someone can break your heart so many times, bring out the worst person you can be. But you will still love them with every piece of your broken soul. I read that a broken heart is like a broken mirror. Better leave it as it is than to hurt yourself by trying to pick up the broken pieces. I've held to pain for so many years that I know no longer how to live without it. And I hate myself everyday for still waiting for him. But he was there for so long, we became part of each other. Or at least I became a part of him. And when he left, I didn't know who I was anymore. But you can't love with a broken heart just like you can't fly with a broken wing.
