Lovely Dolls

A little girl, Delilah gets a doll for her fifth birthday. It's all she could wish for. With her long, black hair and stunning green eyes. She wears a red kimono with gold trim- beautiful. Her middle class parents, not rich nor poor, had to get it for her to be perfect. But they didn't get the doll at Toys R Us, no. They got it from a sketchy cart that sells a type of dolls, Lovely Dolls- seems legit. She loves the doll- but then something happens.

The paint on her left eye fades and Delilah doesn't think she's beautiful anymore. The love and compassion they one had together is now gone.
She gets a new doll.
Delilah throws her beloved doll, Lottie, is thrown out- donated, but she's never sold because of her left eye. So the donation place throws her out. Something changes inside Lottie. She has emotions and so does her companion Pan Pan. Angered, they take action.

But what will Delilah be like after twenty years?
