In a fantasy world where green beasts butcher innocents and red demons use magic to destroy does and cities alike, a young aspiring fighter named Sol has decided to join the empires military for reasons he has kept to himself. Through odd means, his childhood friend Ahmed shows up in town to join the army with him. Sol always knew there was something odd about Ahmed, but it's more apparent now than ever. When a plot unravels involving possession, assassination, magic, alternate universes, time travel and the death of a small wolf, Sol needs to figure out what to do. But can he trust Ahmed to do the same?
